GPXchange

Explore. Upload. Get Paid

The Future of Overlanding Starts Here

GPXchange is built for overlanders, by overlanders.
No algorithms. No ads. No middlemen. Just you, your trail knowledge, and a platform that values it.

What is GPXchange?

GPXchange is a global first, a revolutionary way to share, discover, and monetise overland routes.
It’s a self-service marketplace where adventurers, overlanders, and explorers can upload their GPX tracks, set their own prices, and get paid every time someone downloads one of their routes or trips.

Whether it’s a scenic weekend loop, a full off-road expedition, a trans continent adventure, or a curated collection of wild camps and 4WD trails, your recorded routes are valuable.

You’ve already put in the miles, it’s now time to earn from them.

Why GPXchange Exists

Platforms like Wikiloc are great for free sharing, but they don’t reward the explorers who invest time, fuel, and hard-earned experience documenting their journeys. We believe GPX files aren’t just data, they’re knowledge, experience, and hours of planning and driving.

That’s why GPXchange exists: To give overlanders full control over their content, the ability to monetise their routes, and to build a trusted global library of expert-curated trips. Don’t give away your best work for free. Share it. Price it. Get paid.

Who It's For

  • Overlanders, vanlifers, and 4WD adventurers who record their trips and want to share them with others, for profit or exposure.

  • Travel content creators who want to add a passive income stream by bundling and selling downloadable GPX tracks with campsites, notes, and photos.

  • Weekend explorers and pros alike who are tired of digging through low-quality or vague GPX downloads and want access to routes they can trust.

  • Anyone looking to turn their off-road knowledge into value — not just memories.

How It Works

  1. Submit your GPX file(s), add details like route notes, distance, a screenshot of the route, difficulty, distance etc

  2. Set your price, or offer them for free, you decide

  3. When someone buys your route, you keep 70% of the sale.

  4. Buyers get instant access to your GPX file(s) and extras, and can leave ratings or reviews.

  5. Your route is searchable by region, terrain, vehicle type, and difficulty.

  6. The more detail you can provide, the more ways we can match your trails to the right buyer

  7. Want to upload many routes, simply zip then up and sell them as a bundle

GPXchange will be open soon.
